Melka is the Alaïa interpretation of the summer basket. Crafted from palmellato calf leather, this spacious bag features elegant and graphic lines. It is distinguished by its delicate interplay of cut-outs and braiding, which forms a "Macro Vienne" motif. 

Inspired by the editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine Depeche Mode, a close friend of Monsieur Alaïa. She encouraged him to start his ready-to-wear Maison.
